Announcement - FWSA Event

Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce this year's FWSA event 'A Dead End?: Feminism Within & Beyond the Academy', which will be held at the Women's Library (London) on 2nd October 2010 at 1pm. The event will consist of a roundtable discussion followed by the presentation of the 2010 FWSA Book Prize, and the association's Annual General Meeting. Chaired by Srila Roy (University of Nottingham), the roundtable will include the following speakers: Kat Banyard (UK Feminista),Sukhwant Dhaliwal (Goldsmiths/ WAF), Clare Hemmings (London School of Economics) and Maggie O’Neill (Durham University).

Admission is free, but attendees must register in advance via email (administrator@fwsa.org.uk) in order to be guaranteed a place on the day. There are 40 places available and, once registrations have reached this number, FWSA members will be given priority on the waiting list.
